Feeding the homeless is a First Amendment constitutional right. Having easier access to do so helps those who wish to feed as well as the needy recipient. When parking becomes scarce, it is harder to reach those in need. There should be parking passes for those passing out food within a 20 minute timeframe. People passing food while parked illegally should not be cited if they have the pass and it is within a 20 min window. Please consider allowing those who feed the freedom to park where necessary with the “I FEED THE HOMELESS PASS”!
We, the undersigned, call on the Tennessee government/ United States government to allow good samaritans parking passes that give us easier access to pass out food to those in need.
