Tesco Ireland stock produce such as baby potatoes, carrots, mangoes, dates and basil grown on lands confiscated from Palestinian farmers and then labelled as "Israeli". These vegetables and fruits are grown on illegally acquired lands and often times Palestinian people have been murdered for their farms. The United Nations has many times denounced this confiscation of Palestinian land by Israel and has most recently dispatched war crimes investigators to Gaza.
It is morally unjustifiable for Tesco to be selling Israeli produce against this back drop of human rights abuses by Israel and I believe the Irish people will agree.
We, the Irish People, understand the humanitarian crisis and death toll by design of Israel in Palestine and so demand that Tesco Ireland stop selling all Israeli produce examples being baby potatoes, carrots, dates, mangos and herbs in Ireland.
