Recently the Supreme Court of Canada has voted (4-3) to allow for the warrantless search of cell phones by police on the suspicion a crime has been committed.
This is a gross invasion of our privacy.
I do not wish to live in a police state and will not sit idly by while our freedoms are stripped from us one by one.
We, the undersigned, call on the Supreme Court of Canada to overturn its ruling that allows for the warrantless search of any cell phone or electronic device.
