The City of Abilene has proposed a thoroughfare plan in the FM 707 and Old Forrest Hill Road area in south Abilene.
The city plans to “develop” this semi-rural area with several roads, and the city intends to take privately owned land from tax paying citizens in order to build the roads.
We, the undersigned, call on the leadership of the City of Abilene to respect the desires of our community, reduce the "urbanization" of south Abilene, and respect the private property rights of respectable, law-abiding members of our community.
