Open carry will mean a safer more independent Canada.
Permits and courses will generate millions in revenue.
We, the undersigned, call on the government of Canada to take steps in allowing well trained, upstanding Canadians to openly carry a firearm after undergoing rigorous training on carry ethics, procedures and limitations, as well as penalties and liabilities.
The individual would be trained in person to person dialogue and techniques to defuse a situation without the firearm.
The course would test the patience and awareness of the individual as well as eyesight and consistency on target (accuracy). Min. 20h course.
Only individuals whom demonstrate exceptional skill will be granted a permit.
