No to the CSA taking the NRP child tax credits into account

This petition is the voice of all the non residents, parents and their partners that demand the rules to be changed on the unjustified and unfair current rules that the Child support agency can deem it fit to take away part of their child tax credits, to give it to the nrp (ex partner).

The money should be for the children in their household only not to give to another! The ex partner the RP would already be receiving child tax credits of their own!

For example this is a very popular case situation. Tina has moved in with partner James she has a child from a previous relationship, she depends on her child tax credits to provide for her son who is 7, James already has a child who lives with his ex, the csa take all his wages into account and working tax.

Tina and James are very upset to discover that tina's child tax credit will now also be taken into account although this is paid for her son. Why should tina lose some of her child tax credits to give to James ex this is very emotionally and financially stressful.

So many couples cannot afford to live together because of this unfair unjustified rule. child tax credit is for one child not to take away and give to someone else for there child whom is already receiving there own child tax credit for.

We all demand that the CSA only to take into account nrp income not there partners or children s benefits in there household this is not fare and its a unjustified rule!!

We will not rest until this current unfair system is changed!!
