A planning application has been submitted to Lewisham Council for the redevelopment of the site of the Greyhound Pub. The proposed development is too high and will have a serious affect on the residents around it. This will lead to a loss of light and amenity for people in the area.
The development is also poorly designed and has no reference to the other buildings around it, a point particularly important in a conservation area.
Finally there is inadequate parking for the proposed housing and commercial uses.
We the undersigned object to the plans submitted for the redevelopment of the Greyhound Public House.
We believe that the building is to high and therefore has a significant negative affect on the neighbouring homes, particularly a major loss of light and privacy.
We believe that the design is inappropriate for a conservation area.
We believe that the parking provided as part of the proposed development is inadequate for the number of flats and for the commercial premises within it.
