We, the undersigned, call on the Queensland Premier to reconsider his arbitrary budget cuts and reverse his his decision to privatise Emergency Management Queensland.
People from all walks of life know and value the dedication shown by the crews of the Emergency Services. Making it a private business will create funding issues because of the inherent need for businesses to show a profit.
We, the people of Queensland, should have the right to determine this outcome.
