Thank you to everyone for supporting the love of our community and sound vision for the town of Troutman.
The Town of Troutman leadership has continued to demonstrate an independent will and agenda in direct opposition to the vast majority of residents, both within town limits & in the ETJ. There is another re-zoning request going before the Planning & Zoning Board on February 26th & then the Town Council March 8th. This request will add another 129.98 acres of Heavy Industrial directly adjacent to residential/rural/agricultural home owners. It is also in very close proximity to the ESC Park. This will have a negative impact on the health, safety and quality of life for all residents of our great, small town.
We, the undersigned call on the Troutman Town Council to vote No to the Re-Zoning 18-01/Heavy Industrial. We further call on those in leadership roles within The Town of Troutman to begin representing & voting based on the will of the residents, both within town limits & in the ETJ.
