No to Central Coast Airport

The Second Sydney Airport is an ongoing proposition for another airport to supplement or replace the existing Kingsford Smith Airport in Sydney, Australia.

Estimated to cost between $6 and $8 billion, governments of the past 30 years have not pursued the issue. Mayor of Gosford Laurie Maher and Mr Eaton have endorsed a proposal assembled and funded by Cardno Global Infrastructure Services Consultancy, which lobbied the government to put the second airport on the Central Coast. They have said that community feedback had been largely positive.

This petition has been set up to show we 'the community' are completely against a second airport, against the polluting of our clean, quality air, against destruction of the its "stunning and diverse natural environment"~ "exquisite natural beauty" (Ref- NSW Health Dept.)-

Gosford and Wyong are perfectly located between Sydney and Newcastle airports. In a survey conducted by Gosford Council the most popular reasons residents gave for living on the Central Coast were “lifestyle” and “environment”.

If a second airport is consented, the community and our children would loose all of this forever. This is why you need sign this petition to let them know we are against their decision.
