No mining in Maine

Bald Mountain is at the headwaters of Fish river and Aroostook River. The County gets heavy precipitation. The idea that toxic run off can be contained is absurd. All the lakes will be effected. Portage, Long Lake Eagle lake Square lake. The Fish river chain has the best trout fishing east of the Mississippi. Ground water and surface water will also be impacted. 30% of farms will be impacted and said rivers run through the entire northern part of the County. It's Flint Michigan on steroids.

Presque Isle. Your drinking water is drawn from the Aroostook River.

Moreover, the Aroostook is a tributary to the St John River which dumps into the Gulf of Maine where the lobster industry thrives.

If you don't like to eat locally grown, or you don't like lobster or any fresh water fish, or don't like wildlife I can see your point with foreign owned Irving mining Bald Mountain.

And you want this so Irving,a foreign corporation can profit??
