Using a short survey and facebook posts, we have ascertained that the residents of Cootamundra Gundagai Shire would like to have access to new release films especially children's films, romantic comedy and action block busters.
The Arts Centre Cootamundra provides drama & musical performances, visual arts and workshops of all artful pursuits. Giving local people access to films at the same time as many urban areas would enhance the lifestyle of the region, attract visitors to the shire, and provide further stability for The Arts Centre to continue to provide arts ventures to the area.
We would like signatories to undertake the responsibility of pledging a small monetary support to provide any equipment that is necessary over and above the amount available through the stronger communities grant. A maximum of $10 per signatory would be sufficient.
We the undersigned hereby affirm that we would attend and support new release films at The Arts Centre Cootamundra, and would be happy to subsidise any purchase of infrastructure towards that target to a maximum of $10 per signature.
