In today's progressive society where we can have pronouns listed in our social media profiles I believe there is a need to increase awareness tags, specifically for those who identify as Neurodivergent (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, etc.). With dishonesty and cyber-hostility holding common place on the internet, it is imperative that innocent people can have a way of communicating their lens on the world.
We, the undersigned, call on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to provide a Neurodivergent profile marker. We ask these companies to acknowledge that our world is full of different and diverse minds that all want to connect and share safely. A Neurodivergent profile marker will allow those who identify as Neurodiverdent, (Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, etc.) to communicate and celebrate easily throughout social channels.
