Mose Masoe is a retired Samoa former international rugby league footballer who last played as a prop for Hull Kingston Rovers in the Betfred Super League.
During pre-season 2020 Mose was injured during a challenge and tragically left paralysed from the neck down.
Despite his terrible injuries Mose has shown extreme bravery and determination to learn to walk again with incredible success whilst juggling the challenge of a growing family with his new born son arriving after his devastating accident.
Mose is now able to walk with aids short distances but faces a long road to whatever degree of recovery he can achieve.
For his iron will and extreme inspirational bravery I believe it would be a fitting tribute for Mose to receive this year's Man Of Steel award an honour usually bestowed upon an active player upon theconclusion of the Rugby League season.
We the undersigned request that the inspirational Mose Masoe be recognised as this year's Steve Prescott Man Of Steel award winner.
