Molotov Jukebox to be UK's entry for eurovision 2012

Their music will give us a good chance of winning.

Molotov Jukebox are a six piece band from London. The variety of instruments (violin, accordion, trumpet, bass, guitar, drums) and the mixture of rap and singing make their sound difficult to describe. The band themselves have cited gypsy, ska, funk, dubstep, flamenco, house, electro, pop, reggae, and soul as their influences and call the music they make GypStep.

The lead singer, Natalia Tena has a successful acting career which she has built around her band. She has appeared in the Harry Potter films and has strong stage credentials with companies such as the Royal Shakespeare Company. She first played a sailors squeezebox accordion in her performance of Nights at the Circus by Angela Carter, which toured England with the Kneehigh Theatre Company. When she is on stage with Molotov Jukebox she plays a vintage black Italian Sonola accordion. They are a regular at many of the English and Welsh summer festivals, including Secret Garden Party, Green Man Festival and Glastonbury.
