Currently women born before 1953, and men born before 1950 receive a state pension of £141.85 a week.
Men and women born after these dates receive £185.15 a week state pension.
We ask that all persons born before 1953/1950 receive the same state pension of £185.15 a week as other pensioners do. And we ask that all back pay be paid to even up this disparity.
At this present time of the cost of living crisis this full amount for all pensioners would be greatly welcome.
This petition calls for the equalising of the state pension. So that all pensioners receive the same amount.
