Minecraft 3D is a April Fools joke. This April Fools joke has many references to video gaming in the 1990s.
According to the developers, Minecraft 3D Shareware v1.34 is an "old version" of Minecraft released on April 1, 1994, of which only "a handful of copies were ever made", one of which was discovered "amongst all the rubble" lying in the basement of Mojang's old offices. It was said to be "a masterpiece of its all time" featuring "cutting-edge technology" which won many awards although this is all part of the joke.
We, signing this petition, will alert Mojang to make the 2019 April Fools update aka "Minecraft 3D Shareware v1.34" a actual version of the game. Minecraft 3D brings me back to the old days of games like DOOM, Wolfenstein 3D, Duke Nukem 3D, etc. So please if you loved the Minecraft 3D April Fools joke, and want it to be a real thing.
