The Crossroads lies at the Junction of the A34, Brocton Stafford, Teddesley Road, Brocton Stafford and Sawpit Lane, Brocton Stafford. The postcode for this junction is ST17 0ST and the OS grid reference is x(396273) y(319039) .
Our reason for wanting these improvements is to improve road safety at this extremely dangerous junction/accident black spot – there was a fatality there on 5 May 2010 and there are frequent accidents.
In the light if this accident it would seem that the existing measures in the shape of a 40mph speed limit and speed cameras are not effective.
We the undersigned would like to see road safety improvements to Brocton Crossroads in the form of preferably a traffic roundabout or alternatively traffic lights.
