As residents, friends, visitors, neighbors and/or property owners of/in Madison County, Virginia, we have many unanswered questions about the potential effect of the proposed fracked-gas pipeline on the beauty, safety, health, and prosperity of our County and beyond.
We believe that we need specific, accurate information in order to plan for and make the best choices for ourselves and for our community, BEFORE the regulatory wheels turning.
We the undersigned residents, friends, visitors, neighbors and/or property owners of/in Madison County request that the Madison County Board of Supervisors convene a special public hearing on the proposed pipeline and request that pipeline representatives make a presentation of their project and it's impact on the county.
The meeting must allow questions from the public and pipeline representatives shall provide answers to the questions either immediately or within two weeks of the meeting in a written letter to the Board of Supervisors who are then responsible for disseminating the information to the public.
