Lower Tuition for Fall 2020

In light of the news that most classes will be help online in the Fall 2020 Semester, students deserve to have lower tuition rates as we will not be receiving the same quality education as we would have if our education were to be delivered in person. Due to the fact that there is not a well established precedent for this situation it will be difficult to balance the workload and learn in the same way as we could have before. By lowering tuition fees, the University of Alberta would reestablish a balance between the quality of our education and what we are expected to pay for under such circumstances as these. By lowering tuition, it would incentivize potential and current student to enrol in the fall semester rather than not going due to the suboptimal circumstances.
