Some people think the idea of lowering the voting age to 16 in America is absurd, yet in some cases, the government treats minors with the consequences of an adult. In fact, if a minor in their adolescence does a minor/major crime, they are commonly treated with adult punishment.
Some people are thinking right now in offence to this petition the fact that I am comparing a person who brakes the law. Yet think to yourselves, why should a teen that brakes the law considered more of an adult compared to the well respecting adolescence of America. So please sign this petition in response to the adolescence of America.
As America goes on, so does its citizens. Some inventions, some war, and most ideas at the start and few at the end are just ideas. Here is an idea for America. Lower the voting age to 16 for more accurate votes.
Not only adults are mature. Most people consider the age of 16 a turning point for people in their maturity. So please, petition for this fact and bring it idea to reality!
