In order to protect business ideas and processes, individuals today need to secure patent protection. The associated application process with this is both time consuming and costly. Particularly where global protection is required.
The current process impedes entrepreneurism and innovation. Dramatically making the cost of starting a business unbearable for some, and limiting the ability for idea originators to share and work on their ideas with others.
The World Trade Organisation,
We, the undersigned call on the WTO to reform global patent and IP protection requirements, and processes and fees associated. The purpose being giving citizens of the world the ability to cheaply innovate, collaborate and execute on their ideas at a global level.
We know through more efficient administration and streamlining requirements, the time and cost requirements can dramatically be reduced.
