With over 25 years in the music industry UB40 have toured year after year playing their genre of music without the airplay and recognition they so rightfully deserve, because their music is not considered mainstream.
Bands have gone and reformed and still they receive these awards. We feel that it is about time that UB40 are recognised for this and the fact that they have stayed true to themselves.
We, the undersigned, request that with over 25 years in the music business with the same original line-up that you recognise the contribution UB40 have made to the music industry and reward them with a lifetime achievement award.
