Well i am a senior at North Crowley High School which is in CROWLEY INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT. I have always went to a school that allowed us to wear causal clothes such as jeans, denim, t shirts,graphic t shirts.
Well this year we are now in standardized dress which is professional but costly me coming from a family that has enough to get by but not enough to just up and purchase new clothes every year i don't mind wearing the clothes from the year before.
I am creating this petition to abolish this dress code if not for me and my fellow class mates who graduate but for the remaining classes and the ones to come.
We, the undersigned, call on the school bored of CISD to do away with standardized dress code for the less fortunate families so they will be able to recive there education that there parents/guardians tax dollars pay for every year.
Being forced to wear uniform that can't be purchased so easily can make a student(s) feel uncomfortable about being in there environment which leads up to failure or embarrassment amongst fellow peers.
