TAR has been given a grant from Arts Council England for a feasibility study on Reading Gaol. which has been closed since 2013 and which is meant to go on sale. The TAR study would determine whether a theatre could go on the site and uses for other buildings. However the Ministry of Justice will not allow TAR access.
