We are expressing deep concern over the impending sale of the Temple of Lemminkäinen, a site of significant spiritual and historical importance to the people of Finland and the world. According to indigenous elders from various global wisdom traditions, this site plays an important role in maintaining the Earth’s physical and energetic balance .
Sources indicate that the Temple of Lemminkäinen is being sold to a secretive group from outside of Finland, which wishes to remain anonymous, causing deep concerns about the intentions of the buyer, Temple's future and the level of accessibility for the Finnish and international public.
We believe that transparency is essential when it comes to the sale of cultural heritage, as it ensures that the future of the heritage is protected and the sacred site is in good hands.
