Ezekiel Mutua was appointed as the CEO of the Kenya Film and Censorship Board (KFCB) on 26th October 2015 by former Cabinet Secretary (CS) Hassan Wario for a period of 3 Years. As such his tenure ends in 26th October 2018.
We are therefore petitioning the current Cabinet Secretary at the Ministry of Sports and Heritage, Rashid Achesa, NOT TO extend his tenure.
Ezekiel Mutua divisive leadership as the CEO of KFCB has not only brought shame and ridicule to the country but has exposed his true nature as a narcissistic, hateful man who cannot separate his personal beliefs with the running of this govement parastatal.
Ezekiel Mutua is not fit to continue being the face and voice of KFCB.
We will attach names of competent and qualified individuals, many of whom are filmmakers and media professionals who understand and appreciate the Film/TV/Advertising industry
We the undersigned, Content Creators, Media Professionals, Filmmakers and Kenyan Citizens of good will, call on the Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Sports and Heritage, Rashid Achesa, to Not Extend Ezekiel Mutua's tenure as Kenyan Film and Classification Board CEO
