We are a very remote community in rural British Columbia. We wish to have our weekly mail delivery continue to our residents, both permanent and seasonal. Our children need it for school, our residents need it for their personal mail as well as their businesses.
It is often, if not always our only choice for parcel delivery, mailing important documents, and all other forms of shipping and mail delivery. We wish all postal services including stamp purchasing, parcel shipments and parcel receiving to remain in Germansen Landing.
We do not feel it is right for this service to discontinue and have some of our residents travel up to 60km to get their mail and/or parcels if we were to lose it.
We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge Canada Post to keep the Post Office open and continue mail and parcel delivery in Germansen Landing, BC.
