Today I am asking for support for the New York Police department. After reading that Members of the New York City Council announced that they believe they can cut $1 billion in NYPD spending in the 2021 fiscal budget. Instead, we need to keep the same budget, in any case increased it, we need more trainings, more police in service to keep the peace of our communities, the law and order.
Again, instead of defunding the police, and cutting their budget, we need to keep it. We need more trainings to help to defuse problems not cause bigger problems or issues. There are a lot of good policemen, they outnumber the bad ones. There needs to have better ways of weeding out the bad.

Police officers do the jobs they do because they are committed to serving others. They love where they live, and they want their communities to thrive. Their mission is to protect life and property, and enhance the quality of life for all citizens.

For their commitment for excellence, performing at the highest level—no matter the situation, being effective even the most stressful situations
Because every community needs leaders. Our policemen and women represent the age-old struggle between good and evil, they do not shy away from the mission just because it is difficult.
For their courage. Their commitment. Their instincts. Their nerve. Their devotion to their families as husbands and wives and fathers and mothers. Their insistence on always doing the right thing.
For their humility, because his silence about his own service said it all
