Keep the Music Alive in Airlie Beach

Airlie Beach has been the chosen destination for many holiday makers for years…
There`s a diverse range of activities and entertainment that caters for all ages and interests. This includes live music which has been enjoyed at various venues over the past fifty years and has become very much part of the culture and fabric of the Whitsundays.
The Airlie Beach Festival of Music event brings large numbers of visitors to the area, which is exactly what Airlie needs especially after the ravages of Cyclone Debbie.
Unfortunately there have been complaints circulating throughout the community in regards to the noise level experienced in the main street of Airlie Beach during such music festivals and events. These events bring numerous tourists and visitors to the area each year, which has a beneficial flow on affect for all stakeholders throughout the community. If we let these music festivals disappear from the area then we all stand to loose so much.
