Keep The Gwinnett Braves Name

A recent AJC article declared that the Gwinnett Braves intended to change their name for the 2018 baseball season. This was supposedly due to some confusion for fans who wished to see the Atlanta Braves, their Major League affiliate, play. Apparently some people have purchased Gwinnett Braves tickets believing they were purchasing tickets for the Atlanta Braves and were disappointed when they discovered the error. I believe changing the name will harm the marketability of the team in Gwinnett County, and will also change the loyalty of the fan base they do have. We love our Braves, and want to keep that name. Simple instructions on their website can assure that people are not confused by their ticket purchase. I believe the people of Gwinnett County and the surrounding area are very opposed to this name change and it will negatively impact the team and the community.
