The Deer's Leap is a family run community pub in Worcestershire once owned by Admiral Taverns. The pub was sold in February 2010 to a private landlord who now wants to sell the land a build a medical centre.
The Deer's Leap is a well used popular venue with a number of skittle teams, two pool teams and a darts team. Local bands play at the Deer's every Saturday. Local groups use the pub to hold monthly/weekly meetings and the pub has now become a focal point for the community.
Don't let the Deer's become another statistic in the closure of the Great British Pub.
We the undersigned urge the local planning department to reject the plans to demolish this well used community pub.
