It has been announced by the government that, as part of the Army 2020 Refine restructure, the 101 Battalion REME (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers) HQ at Wrexham Barracks will be closed down and moved to the south west of the UK near Bristol. Wrexham is proud of its longstanding connection with the armed forces. We are campaigning to stop the closure and demand that the government keeps the 101 Battalion REME HQ in Wrexham.

We, the undersigned, call on HM Government to keep the 101 Battalion REME HQ at Wrexham Barracks and not close, and relocate it.
