Proffesor Maggie Whetsel is a huge asset to the teaching staff. Her teaching style connects with the students in a way they understand the course work verses a lecture style.
She incorperates the students into the studies giving them a hands on approach to learning. Professor Whetsel is committed to the knowlege of her students, and is very professional with the sensitive subjects covered in the criminology courses without giving personal views on the subjects.
She is highly recomended from students who have taken her courses in the past and wil be a huge asset lost from the teaching staff.
We, the undersigned, students, staff, parents, and alumni of Green River Community College show a lack of agreement in the decision of Green River Community College to terminate the employment of Professor Maggie Whetsel.
The signatures herein are representing those who are requesting Green River Community College rethink their decision to terminate Professor Whetsel, and ask to keep her teaching Criminology in the Social Sciences Department at Green River Community College.
