Preston/Hurlock Maryland Dorchester County Keep our Horses SAFE. Every year Preston Auto Complex puts on HUGE Fireworks displays in this tightly knitted horse community. These fireworks send our horses into EXTREME Panic Mode for 20 to 40 minutes straight putting our horses into GREAT Danger. Many of us live within hundreds of feet of this display with fireworks going off directly over our horses heads. The ground shakes and our horses run our fields in panic mode. Help us convince them to either stop these displays or move them to a safer less populated area. Most of our fireworks displays are safely put on over the water fronts in the area would it be so terrible to have them move this one? Horses are large animals and VERY dangerous when they enter these panic modes. Please sign the petition and help us before any of our horses are seriously injured by these Firework Displays.
We, as Equine Lovers of the Eastern Shore request that these Fireworks Displays be prevented at this location and or moved to a less populated safer location for the welfare and well being of our Horses.
