Bromley Council closed the Aviary toilets in Kelsey Park on 11th July. The “Friends of Kelsey Park” have accepted Bromley Council’s offer for these toilets to be converted into their new information centre. This will cost between £30K - £50K.
Since the toilets have closed children have been relieving themselves in bushes and excrement has been found nearby
These are the facts – once the toilets have been converted they are gone forever!
Is the new information centre really necessary at the expense of basic hygiene and health standards for you and the future generations?
We think the cost of conversion could be spent to keep these toilets open at weekends and school holidays.
We call upon Bromley Council & The Friends of Kelsey Park to reconsider their recent agreement to use funding to convert the Kelsey Aviary Toilets into a new information centre.
The cost of conversion could be used to keep this vital public service open at weekends and school holidays.
If you support this alternative use of council tax payers money then please sign this petition and pass onto your friends and family!
