During the season all of our coaches were approved to coach our 9u youth football team. Now at the end of the season and right before our last game Coach Kodi and Coach Shawn has been told they can no longer be our head coach/coach. This is affecting the whole team with them not being the coaches. They were approved to coach and now at the end of the season is being told they can longer coach the CAK 9u football team. they have worked hard for this team and we would like to see them back as our head coaches.
We the parents of the 9u CAK youth football team have decided to create a petition that clearly indicates we want Coach Kodi Mills to be the head coach and Coach Shawn to remain our assistant coach. We feel that they are best suited to lead us in all areas: physically, mentally, and spiritually. They know the hearts of this team and have connected with us in ways far beyond just football and just football players. As a team, we would follow Coach Kodi wherever he would lead this team knowing we will be victorious. He has showed up for many of the players of this team on and off the field and it would be sad to see the bond that these boys have with him be destroyed by taking him from the coaching position. Coach Shawn has also been a valuable asset to our team as well. He has showed great dedication for our team and the organization and the boys will miss him too if he is not back as one of our coaches. Coach Kodi was and still is a great example of what a real stand up coach is all about. Always wanting what is best for the team and always being a listening ear to the players, parents, and other coaches. As you sign this petition remember the heart of this team and where it started and where it is now. We will not be defeated because we have an undefeated spirit on and off the field. Thank you for all your support and effort this year. Now let's show some support for Coach Kodi and Coach Shawn stand beside them to be our coaches again! Let's put our team name to use.
