Dear Petition Signer,
Since this petition was first published other Board of Supervisors members, the General Manager, and the District Manager have provided me with a completely different version of the the discussion regarding Resolution 2014-13 that took place on 9/10. I have updated the informational website, www.jcpcdd.com, with that version, in contrast to the original summary of the petition discussion I was given.
I am recommending that you do what I now intend to do. To investigate this issue further and to attend the next CDD meeting. Suggestions and the meeting information is at the site, jcpcdd.com
Without our active interest in this and other issues that affect us as property owners and CDD members, our community would be the worse for it.

DO YOU WANT 1500 MORE PEOPLE USING OUR REC CENTER?
Then DO SOMETHING TO STOP IT by 10/14 6PM at the CDD REC CENTER!!
1500 new users is what you could end up with if three members of the CDD Board of Supervisors (BoS) has their way on 10/14. They plan to roll over for our new "neighbors" DR Horton, and GIVE THEM and the other businesses on CDD property 340 FULL FAMILY Sign this Petition Now AND
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS to distribute EACH YEAR AS THEY WISH. Since these 340 passes are FAMILY passes, the total users could rise well above:
1500 ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS FOR PEOPLE WHO DON'T LIVE IN JCP OR RIVER OAKS!
The "hearing" on this "proposal" (translation: sellout) of our memberships is the next BoS meeting 10/14 at 6PM. It has the innocuous title of Resolution 2014-13.
We need to spread the word that this shameful act will not stand. You need to spread the word and to speak up against this theft of OUR facility.
Organize your neighbors and friends! This is worth your time! We all lose forever if we lose the opportunity to shut this sellout down on 10/14!

We the undersigned members of the JCP CDD call upon our elected Board of Supervisors to vote to REJECT Resolution 2014-13 in accordance with our best interests and will.
We urge you to NOT CHANGE the rules and requirements for membership that we ALL have lived under FOR YEARS. Do not open up OUR facilities for businesses to utilize as THEY WANT.
VOTE AGAINST RESOLUTION 2014-13 AND RESIST ANY PRESSURES FROM OUTSIDE INTERESTS TO MAKE YOU SELL OUT WHAT BELONGS BY LEGAL AND BINDING AGREEMENT TO US AND ONLY US!
