The City of Oceanside will be sending notices at the end of September, 2013 regarding water and sewer rate increases. The notice does NOT say how much the increases will be.
The City will hold a public hearing on rate increases on November 6th, 2013.
We, the undersigned, oppose any new water or sewer rate increases.
The notification for rate increases is defective as the public cannot determine what the increased amounts are. The City Council must let residents know!
We also object to the City's lack of transparency and engagement of the public on this highly important issue.
