We the people of Rankin County and surrounding areas request an investigation of Rankin County Animal Shelter. Several complaints have been made about the wellware of the animals taken in by this organization. I personally experienced this first hand with my Boxer Tank when he was taken away for allegedly biting a child whom was tormenting him in my backyard. Tank was so malnourished he could hardly walk and couldn't jump! His head hung low and he showed no emotions! The shelter never called me as the owner, nor a vet at my expense, instead they let him dwindle away almost to the point of death! This is not acceptable! No pet should have to go through this and no owner should have to either!
We the undersigned, call on ALL ANIMAL RIGHTS AGENCIES to investigate RNKIN COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER and the welfare of all present animals and the condition previous animals where returned to their owners!
