MANHATTAN (WABC) -- A Con Ed worker was struck and killed while getting into his vehicle. The accident happened at Hester and Grand Streets in Manhattan around 1:40 Friday afternoon. Police said the 60-year-old worker, James Dong, was struck by a truck that kept going. The worker suffered head trauma and died at the scene.
I am asking everyone, friends, family - to sign this petition to have the Manhattan DA investigate this case of senseless killing of a well-loved family man who did no harm to anyone & was loved by all.
With all the witnesses at the scene of the crime - no statements were taken; criminal charges files, tickets issued to the driver of the trailer truck that was speeding & ran over my uncle !! At the end of the day, he went home to his family - while I was mourning the loss of a loved one.
My family needs answers to this senseless horrific accident that broke up our family.
