One of Charlie Sheen's dogs recently died of malnutrition and as yet, he has not been charged with animal cruelty.
We, the undersigned, urge the Los Angeles SPCA to investigate the death of Charlie Sheen’s pug from malnutrition. Reports are circulating that he allegedly let the dog starve to death.
Given Sheen’s erratic behavior and past history of domestic violence, there is much validity in this claim. When asked to comment on the dog's death, Sheen's publicist said, "Sorry, busy with the real world." At a time when the Patrick Movement proves that animal cruelty is a grave and real concern, is Sheen’s celebrity exempting him from an investigation into this matter?
Patrick the Pitbull’s owner, Kisha Curtis, is facing a possible sentence of 18 months in jail and a $3,000 fine for starving her dog to the point of death.
If the allegations against Sheen are true, then he should also be prosecuted for animal cruelty. The same standards that apply to the poor must also apply to the rich and famous.
