Install street lights on Church St. near Rowley St. in memory of Shayne Wrobel

On Friday November 5, 2010 fourteen year old Shayne Wrobel was hit and killed by a passing driver while skateboarding home on the corner of Church Street and Rowley Streets in Newington Ct. He was heading home with his twin brother from a nearby friend's house. Because the area was so dark with no street lights the driver did not see him in time. Even though it was accidental, if there were street lights the driver of the car would have seen him and would have had more time to react.
We can't let this happen to anyone else. We need as many signatures as possible to install street lights and make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. Please sign this and pass it on to everyone you know so we can make this happen.

We the undersigned, call on the Town of Newington to take action in order to increase the safety of its citizens by installing street lights on Church Street and Rowley Streets.
In light of recent events it has become obvious that this change is needed quickly and without hesitation.
