The new road works that have been completed on Gnangara Rd has seen the new speed limits set at 80km per Hr. This speed limit simply is not suitable for a road that is designed for a higher speed limit. Now that the road has very little buildings on it, and has been improved safety wise, from what it was before, then the speed limit should be raised to make the commuting more desirable for motorists along the stretch of road.
This petition is designed to collate the number of people that agree that the new Gnangara Rd should have the speed limit raised in line with other roads that have been built in the same environment. The speed limit should be raised to 100km per hour.
