Increased therapy services for special needs: ABA increase

In eastern Tennessee we are limited on services for children over the age of 3. We have little to none in home therapies available and the select few that are there have almost a year waiting list for children and sometimes longer if they are on Medicaid. Children with autism and other delays need to have access to these therapies to succeed and strive in life. These service are detrimental to their learning and should be started as young as possible. Once our kids are getting into services they are limited to 1 to 2 hours a week because of availability issues. Most kids with autism need at least 20 hours of ABA therapy a week.
