Increase sustainability at Auckland Zoo

We, the population of Western Springs College oppose the commissioning of 'Magic Memories' by the Auckland Zoo. This is due to the fact that the organisation is using unsustainable practices when providing zoo goers with pictures. Magic Memories is wasting finite resources by printing pictures taken of patrons entering the zoo.

When people come to the end of their zoo visit they often have no interest in spending money on pictures and the booklets are disposed.

We propose that electronic photo boars are installed at the zoo and patrons can see their pictures and request for them to be printed only if they plan on buying them.

By taking this small action the sustainability of the zoo will increase, finite resources will not be wasted and the 'Magic Memories' company will save money by not having to dispose any waste.
