Dear Ambassador,
We would like to take this opportunity to draw your attention to the case of many human rights activists detained in Saudi prisons.
Recall that the human rights organization Sanad reported that the Saudi judiciary has sentenced six prisoners of conscience to death:
Mohammed Al Tahnoon, Mustafa Abu Shaheen, Abdullah Ghazwi, Zuhair Al Samkhan, Mohammed Al Masbah and Razi al-Shayib.
Among the detained activists we report: Mohammed Saleh al-Bejadi (human rights defender), Israa al-Ghomgham (human rights defender), and Salma al-Shehab (student).
We ask you to support and defend activists who suffer unjust arrests and convictions.
We demand for strong diplomatic pressure for the immediate release of all human rights activists currently imprisoned.
We thank you in advance for your time on this important and urgent matter.
Yours sincerely.
