Highland Village Skatepark

This petition is for local skateboarders, bikers, and scooter riders. It will help the city police by not having to patrol skate-spots and take home or kick-out the riders from these spots. It may also give more motivation to people to get outside and do something productive.

When a rider of some sorts goes riding they usually bug and annoy the land or store owner. Sometimes rails and ledges get destroyed from grinding on them and the stair sets, people jump them or they try to and get injured.

Before skateboarding and scootering I stayed inside a lot but once I tried them out I was outside almost everyday. It could motivate the youth to get outside to be tougher, stronger and more independent.

The city could charger the users of the park and I would still use it. They would be making money and have less waxed up curbs, ledges, and rails.
