Horses have roamed the Barmah Forest North Victoria Australia since 1846. The Government have declared the forest a National Park and are trying to eradicate the last 140 horses who roam the Park of 30,000 Hectares.

The people who have lived and breathed the forest since settlement do not want the heritage horse removed and are fighting to have the last horses positively managed in their home.

The forest is today a beautiful place with all living things existing as they have done for over a century.
Support the horses in their environment as they are a part of the forest and the history that makes the Forest/ Park what it is today.

Studies used By the government our outdated and biased funded by government to achieve the government's plan.

We the citizens of Australia ask the Barmah Heritage horses be managed in the forest where they have coexisted for 150 years, We ask that the remaining 140 horses have positive management put in place for the future of tourism, and the forest and the people who are descendants of the men and woman who managed the forest from settlement.

we ask No horses be removed from the Barmah Forest/Park and future plans be made by the Preservation Society for the sustainable future of the forest and horses.

The HELP! Preserve the historic Barmah Brumbies in their Forest petition to Victorian Parks And Wild Life was written by Lynette Sutton and is in the category Animal Rights at GoPetition.
