While budget cuts have taken its toll on nearly everyone and everything in the United States, we here at Purdue University Calumet are experiencing our own level of budget cuts.
Professors and Instructors are having to take on janitorial duties and restrooms and classrooms are lacking on cleanliness as well. We understand that budget cuts are necessary but the University needs to make sure that they are cutting the right places.
The students of PUC take so much pride in this school. We are calling the University to realize the negative effects of the budget cuts on the Facilities Department and calling for a change.
We, the undersigned, call on Purdue University Calumet to reconsider it's current budget and to help the Facilities Department with funding to maintain the cleanliness of the University to the students standards.
